Thank you for shopping with The Uncorked Horse. Please review our shipping policy carefully before placing an order.

Order Processing Time

All treats are handmade in small batches to ensure freshness and quality.

Orders typically process within 4 – 7 business days unless otherwise stated.

During preorders, seasonal launches, holidays, or shop closures, processing times may be extended. Any extended timelines will be clearly noted on the product listing or website announcement.

Preorders & Seasonal Treats

Preorder items (including seasonal collections such as Christmas or Valentine’s Day treats) are not shipped immediately.

  • Shipping timelines for preorders are listed on the product page
  • Orders containing preorder items will ship once all items are ready
  • We do not split shipments unless otherwise arranged

Please place separate orders if you wish to receive in-stock items sooner.

Shipping Rates & Carriers

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on order size and destination.

We primarily ship via UPS & USPS. Once your order has shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email.

Delivery Time

Delivery times vary based on location and carrier performance. Estimated delivery dates are not guaranteed and do not account for carrier delays, weather issues, or holidays.

The Uncorked Horse is not responsible for delays caused by the shipping carrier.

Shipping Address Accuracy

Please ensure your shipping address is entered correctly at checkout.

  • We are not responsible for orders shipped to incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by the customer
  • Orders returned due to address issues may require additional shipping fees to resend

Packages Damaged in Transit

While we take great care in packaging our products, The Uncorked Horse is not responsible for damage that occurs once an order is in transit.

If your order arrives damaged, please follow the steps below:

  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
  • Email theuncorkedhorse@gmail.com with:
    • Your order number
    • Clear photos of the damaged item(s)
    • Photos of the shipping box and packaging

We will review each case individually and, if applicable, assist with a replacement or store credit at our discretion.

Please note:

  • Minor cosmetic damage that does not affect the usability or safety of the product may not qualify for replacement
  • We do not offer refunds for damage caused by the shipping carrier
  • Claims submitted outside the 48-hour window will not be eligible for review

Lost, Stolen, or Delayed Packages

Once a package is marked as delivered by the carrier, responsibility transfers to the customer.

  • We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages after delivery
  • For missing packages, please contact your local post office or carrier directly using your tracking number

Weather & Heat Considerations

While we take care in packaging, we are not responsible for weather-related damage once items are in transit.

Please consider local temperatures when ordering, especially during warmer months.

Shop Closures & Delays

Occasionally, the shop may close due to travel, relocation, or personal commitments.

  • Closure dates and shipping resumes will be announced in advance
  • Orders placed during a closure will ship once the shop reopens
