I started making The Uncorked Horse treats when I first purchased my horse, Yankee. His coat was dull, skin was dry, and his tail had been chewed on. I started adding coconut oil to his grain, but it was hard to get to the barn every day to microwave it, so I played with multiple treat recipes to get that same amount of oil in a few treats to make feed time easier. After a while, I started to market the treats to my barn mates and then the word spread rapidly, and I was selling treats all over the States. What originally began as a fun gift for friends and other equine professionals has turned into something I am proud to market to other horse owners who care as much as I do.

With years of experience in the equestrian world, I know how
important it is to have treats that are healthy, practical, fun, but also will
not break the bank. I handmake every batch using only human-grade ingredients, with a focus on quality, consistency, and purpose. Since our treats are soft, a pill can easily be pushed inside the treat to make medication time much easier.
